Action against polluters

Welcome news from Ofwat this morning, as water companies face £168m in penalties for sewage dumping in our rivers and seas.

I know how strongly people across Wakefield and Rothwell feel about the scourge of sewage in the rivers Calder and Aire.

As promised, the Labour Government has begun cleaning up our waterways.
