Pay rise for our frontline workers

Our incredible public service workers—from NHS staff and prison officers to teachers and support staff—deserve more than just praise. They deserve real recognition for the vital work they do every single day.

That’s exactly what they’re getting from our Labour government: not just warm words, but a proper pay rise that reflects their dedication and the essential role they play in our society.

This will make a real difference to families across Wakefield and Rothwell, where public services are some of our largest local employers—including Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield Prison, and our fantastic local schools.
