When I’m on the doorstep across Wakefield, access to reliable bus services comes up time and again with residents.
So I’m absolutely delighted that Wakefield residents will soon be benefiting from the Mayor’s Bus Boost. Eight upgraded services with evening frequency doubled is a phenomenal achievement which will deliver real change for thousands of my constituents.
These improvements are testament to Labour Mayor Tracy Brabin’s tireless efforts to improve transport across West Yorkshire.
